Inertia connects your projects with intelligent construction drawings, empowering proactive construction management from design to built. By selecting locations on your Inspection Requests, RFIs, Inquiries and more, you are connecting this information to every module, every team member, through every phase, in real time.
Using Location Tracking
In this example, we will use the creation of a new Inspection Request, but the same basic steps apply to other modules such as RFI, Inquiries, Punch List, etc.
1. Navigate to the Inspection tool.
2. Select New Inspection.
3. Enter the information for your inspection. When you have completed entering this information, scroll to the bottom of the Inspection Request form to locate the Maps section.
4. In the lefthand folder tree, select the map you would like to view.
5. Once you've loaded your map, select from the following tools:
- Use the Navigation Tool to move around the map and locate the area of inspection.
- Use the Select tool to select the areas of your inspection.
- Use the Snapshot tool to grab a specific section of the map. Snapshots will be attached to the IR, and print with any IR documents.
When you have finished making your map selections and entering information for your IR, select Save.
