Question: I'd like to see how many inspections were scheduled today, and how many took place. How do I view this?
To see the number of inspections scheduled for a given day, and a broad view of all inspection actions, let's take a look at the Inspection Action. report. In the left navigation menu, go to Inspection (1), IR Reports (2), Inspection Analytics (3), Inspection Action (4).
Report Data
In the Inspection Action report, the top graph will show inspection actions over the current month. Filter by inspection user, or month and year. You can also select a specific date range in the same toolbar.
Below the graph, you'll find the report details for the current month by day. You can select Export to CSV for a spreadsheet copy of the data. Click the blue highlighted values to show the list of the IRs for that date and action.
Scheduled: This is the number of inspections that were scheduled for this day
Pass: The number of inspections which passed this day. *As some inspections may be entered in Inertia after their scheduled date, it is possible to have more inspections passed/failed than scheduled for the day.
Failed: The number of inspections which have failed. *As some inspections may take place after their scheduled date, it is possible to have more inspections passed/failed than scheduled for the day.
Pending: The inspection has been placed on a temporary hold.
Revision Required: The inspector has noted that a revision must be made before completing the inspection. This status has sent the inspection back to the QC team without failing the inspection. *This status does not impact metrics for the project.
RR-Reschedule: A reschedule was requested for the inspection.
RR-Other: Revision required- other. Please see the inspection request "History" for notes from the IOR.
Total Actions: A sum of all inspection actions, regardless of the IR status.
Outstanding: The number of inspections that are outstanding for the day. For example, if 10 inspections are scheduled- but only 9 take place, the Outstanding column will show "1" for the day. *If a negative number is shown, this indicates more inspections/actions took place than were originally scheduled.
